Our History

History of Boozer Eyecare

Boozer Eyecare has been truly blessed to serve Cullman and surrounding communities over the past 39 years. Our practice has grown from one doctor and two staff members in 1984 to four doctors and 14 staff members at present.
 

Dr. Boozer moved to Cullman and began private practice in 1984 in a very small building across the railroad tracks from the former House of Shoes. Neither building exists today.
 

Our 2nd location was in the building where Drs. Gross and Williford previously practiced. This location is now home to Medical Arts Apothecary.
 

In 1990, we built a new office just south of Merchant’s Bank, now home to VisionAmerica of Cullman. Our practice remained at this location for 19 years.
 

In 2019, Boozer Eyecare opened its new state-of-the-art facility on Field of Miracles Drive, next to the Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center (CWAC) and Heritage Medical Complex.
